A Blessing

My first visit to Southern Ireland was a “wherever the wind takes me” kind of photography trip and because I was undecided as to which direction I would take when picking up my rental car had no accommodation booked.  After spending some days photographing I was beginning to make my way back to the airport.  Having no accommodation booked for the evening I was hurriedly on my way along to the next large town to find a place to stay for the night when driving along the Ring of Kerry coast this magnificent scene grabbed my attention.  I knew even if I had to sleep in my car that night, this was a shot I could not miss.  Abruptly stopping the car and running down the side of the hill I managed to capture the scene before the light changed. It indeed was for me “A Blessing.”
