Algonquin Dawn

Algonquin Park in Ontario is always one of my favourite places to go to when I need a “fix” for my photography craving. Early morning photography does not come easy for this “night owl” but in order to capture some special light an early morning rise is essential. On this morning I was greeted with the stillness of the air and the rising mist off the lake.

This beautifully quiet and serene image was captured just at first light before sunrise, “Algonquin Dawn”. Can you hear the loon calling?
