Golden Silence

Of course, every photographers nightmare is to “see” that potential photograph and not have your camera!  How many times I have cried tears of frustration because that has happened to me! This was no exception!  Driving home from Toronto late afternoon I saw the most beautiful haw frost images in my mind’s eye but had no camera gear with me.  I knew by the time I got home and returned it would be too late and the light would be gone.  So the next morning before it was light I drove the two hours back to this area in the hope that the scenes I had witnessed the previous day would still be there.  Although, I had lost the light I had seen the previous afternoon I was still able to capture some beautiful images in this winter wonderland before the sun came fully up and melted all the frost.  Enjoy this “Golden Silence.”
