Solitude

One of the biggest changes and challenges moving to Canada from England for me was adapting to the “Bruce County” winters here in Ontario. Often referred to as the land of horizontal snow! However, winter has become one of my favourite seasons for photography. Despite its many challenges it often presents itself with some wonderful opportunities to capture some striking images. This, I feel is one of those opportunities, the solitude tree with a fence line that leads you off into the empty distance with no distractions. “Solitude” can go anywhere in your home or office as the simplicity of this image will not “fight” with any of your decor
